Laurie Elit, MD
Laurie Elit MD MSc FRCS(C) is a physician and an emeritus professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University. Her background is in gynecologic oncology and she currently spends her time between Canada and Cameroon providing healthcare to women with preinvasive and invasive disease, educating the next generation of healthcare providers, and doing quality improvement research.
Sherilyn Houle, PhD
Sherilyn Houle, BSP, PhD, CTH, AFTM RCPS (Glasg) received her pharmacy degree from the University of Saskatchewan and PhD from the University of Alberta, and has practice experience in hospital, home care, community pharmacy, and primary care team settings. She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy with research and teaching interests in pharmacy practice to full scope with a focus on immunizations and travel medicine. In 2023, she was recognized by OPA with the Exceptional Achievement in Research and Academia Award.
