Pharmacists in many provinces in Canada are now able to prescribe medications for patients with uncomplicated urinary tract infections. This course consists of two modules. The first is an introductory module, which describes a structured approach to prescribing called the Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process. The second module guides the learner through the process as it applies to a case, allowing the pharmacist practical application of the content to prepare them to confidently assess a patient presenting with an acute, uncomplicated UTI.
