This course will provide pharmacists with the knowledge and tools to better understand the current landscape of pneumococcal disease in Canada. By the end of this program, pharmacists will be able to describe changes in the disease burden over time, identify key serotypes implicated in both invasive disease and pneumonia, and distinguish between the vaccine options available in Canada, including their types and included serotypes.
