Description
Description:
One of the significant impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic is that many individuals are facing mental health challenges. There has been an increasing demand for mental health resources from patients. With the prevalence and rise of incidents of mental illness, such as depression and anxiety, pharmacists need to understand the signs and symptoms of mental illness and learn how to help patients in distress.
This course was developed to meet these learning needs. It will review three mental illnesses (ADHD, anxiety, and depression), and take a practical approach to study them through common cases that you would encounter in routine pharmacy practice. The course explores patients’ experiences and how to optimize care, while examining cases that are grounded in therapeutic knowledge.
