Medical cannabis use is becoming more familiar to healthcare professionals and patients and it is becoming increasingly important for pharmacy professionals to keep up-to-date and improve their knowledge on patient care as it relates to cannabis use.

Pharmacists are key health advisors and are in a unique position to provide medical cannabis education and promote safe use.

The Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) has made it mandatory for all practising pharmacists to complete cannabis education.
