OPA Is Seeking a Pharmacy Technician Board Member

Appointment of a Pharmacy Technician to the Position of Director-at-Large on the Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) Board Pursuant to the Bylaws.

Pursuant to By-law No.1 of the Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA), I hereby present a Call for Nominations for candidates to be considered by the Governance and Nominating Committee and Board approval to be nominated as the pharmacy technician sitting as a Director-at-Large on the Board of Directors. The Director-at-Large position consists two, three-year terms and must be a pharmacy technician in good standing and a member of OPA. 

The Ontario Pharmacists Association is the largest pharmacy advocacy organization in Ontario. OPA provides practice, educational and business-related services that:

  • Support, empower and engage pharmacy professionals in all practice settings;
  • Enable the delivery of high-quality care to patients; and
  • Contribute to a sustainable pharmacy sector.  
Your Board of Directors is seeking passionate and enthusiastic pharmacy technician to be considered for appointment to the Board as a Director-at-Large. Possessing the qualifications that are identified in the individual director’s job description, the ideal candidate is ready to contribute to OPA in fulfilling its mission to advance the pharmacy profession as a vital healthcare provider through advocacy, innovation and support services.
