Kyrollos (Kyro) Maseh is an owner and full-time pharmacist at Lawlor Pharmacy. His main practice focus is psychopharmacology, and he regularly provides mental health and addiction education to healthcare professionals and youths. Recognized as a leader in this space, Kyro received the 2019 CMHA public service award. Dedicated to serving and advancing the profession, Kyro is a former elected board director at the Ontario College of Pharmacists, where he served on ICRC, discipline, and registration committees. In 2021, he was a recipient of the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy preceptor of the year award, and he continues to regularly mentor EPE and APPE students throughout the year. A regular on national media outlets, Kyro has been featured providing insights on a variety of pharmacy-related topics. A news story he was featured in was selected as one of the top 10 news stories in Canada for 2020. In addition to using his pharmacy to serve and educate patients, he also uses it to raise funds for food banks, women’s shelters, and Ukrainian refugees. Kyro completed his bachelor’s degree at Cairo University, French immersion studies at the Universite Laval, and the IPG program at the University of Toronto.
