Rate:
Remuneration is paid per assessment at a rate of $50.00.
Position Summary:
The Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) is seeking multiple enthusiastic Injection Training Assessors to complete on-site evaluations of injection skills and techniques for pharmacy technicians. The position requires successful candidates to demonstrate and evaluate injection skills while also being personable and knowledgeable. Furthermore, Assessors will also provide constructive feedback and guidance ensuring injection skills comply with current standards of practice.
We are looking for Assessors across Ontario, to complete on-site trainings in the areas of:
- Barrie
- Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- London
- Peterborough
- Sudbury
- Thunder Bay
Qualifications:
- Must be registered with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP), in Part A of the Register
- Must be authorized to provide injection services within the policies of OCP
- Have a valid certification in First Aid and CPR, at a level equivalent to the St. John Ambulance or Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C
- Actively provide injection services at their place of work regularly
Other Candidate Requirements:
- Must complete the assessor training module provided by OPA
- Must have flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
- Must provide their own injection supplies
