The thing that stands out the most for me through all of this is how people relied on us. My patient with severe asthma relied on us for fabric masks when there were no surgical masks to be found. A local construction company relied on our compounded hand sanitizer to keep their employees on the job site. The local physicians relied on us as a conduit for care. The community relied on us for flu shots. The seniors relied on our delivery for safety. And we rose. With every request we made things happen. And we were seen. By other practitioners. By the community. By the politicians. And by each other. I have never felt more connected to the Pharmacy community, to those on the ground with us, working every day to improve the lives of the their patients. I am so proud to have been a positive part of this dark time in history.
